In the fiels of SimulAnalog
research, the simulation of guitar amplifiers and stompboxes is one of
the application which involves more technical issues: there are
complex linerar networks and nonlinear components which operates in a
highly nonlinear range. The cabinet involves the simulation of a
mechanical component and the diffusion into a soundfield.
We belive that this application is a nice test to
give some demonstration of our results. It is possible to download a
set of VST plugins, named SimulAnalog Guitar
Suite, which implements the simulation of some famous guitar
amplifiers and stompboxes.
